Femi Adekunle is a seasoned legal technocrat and accomplished professional with a strong academic and practice background in law. He earned both his undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Law from the University of Lagos, and was subsequently called to the Nigerian Bar as a Solicitor and Advocate of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
With a diverse legal career spanning court-room advocacy, commercial law practice, part-time lecturing, and legal commentary, Femi has cultivated a broad range of experience and expertise. He has served as a legal columnist, a commercial solicitor, and is also a Chartered Arbitrator. He was appointed a member of the Technical Advisory Committee of the National Assembly on the review of new bills relating to transport infrastructure. In addition, he contributes as a resource person to the Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI), headquartered in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.
Femi is deeply passionate about strengthening family life and values. Together with his wife, he co-convenes The Family Confab—a platform that provides parents with the opportunity to discuss relevant family issues and share insights. Through their initiative, Inspirational Parenting Network (IPaN), they support and inspire parents to become intentional and impactful. He is also a trained parent educator.
Demonstrating a strong commitment to humanitarian service, Femi is the Founder and President of The Adekunle Child Foundation (TACF), a nonprofit organization registered in Nigeria and the United States. The Foundation is devoted to championing the cause of vulnerable children and empowering disadvantaged communities. His personal vision is to be “a voice that speaks solutions to families.”
In addition to his professional and philanthropic pursuits, Femi enjoys writing, farming, and traveling. He is the author of two insightful books on parenting: Inspirational Parenting and Busting Parenting Fallacies.
He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association and the prestigious IBB International Golf and Country Club, Abuja. Femi Adekunle is happily married and blessed with three young adult children.
